    General Conditions

  1. Operations with the emission allowances are done electronically by using Emission Trading Registry (ETR) that is established and maintained by Registry administrator – Latvian Environment, Geology, and Meteorology Centre. Registry contains the publicly available information and information of limited availability that is protected by LEGMC according to national legislation requirements.
  2. The holder of emission allowances can be an operator (according to Article 24.1 of the law ”On Pollution”), pool of the operators authorized person and other physical or legal person (clients). Clients that hold any emission allowances can transfer them to other clients without any restrictions.
